Why
do we have one more organization?
Outside of
India there are many individuals, churches and organizations,
who are eager to spread the Good News about Jesus Christ. In
order to accomplish the purpose, they are motivated to print,
produce and give resources related to missions. Unfortunately,
they do not know where they are needed the most. At the same
time there are extremely needy Christian workers in Gujarat,
India. So CCM is trying to bridge the gap between those who
want to give and those who need. CCM is greatly concerned for
the spiritual, social and physical well being of the servants
of God in Gujarat.
Why do we care about God's servants well being?
Jesus
says: "if you do to the least of these, then you have done
it to me." We want to let God's words spread around the world
(Gujarat) and those who do so earnestly, deserve our support.
The well being of these disciples is vital since they go and
fight battle against the enemy of Christ. How can a solder
fight, who has not been property feed, clothed and equipped.
Why can't the Indian Church take care of their people?
Well,
India is developing country. Apart from this the Christian population
in Gujarat is less then 0.5 % of the total population. Christian
in this part of world comes from the middle class. They do their
part, but still we need help from out side. There is nothing
like an "Indian Church" or "European Church". It is only one
body of Christ. If one part suffers the whole body suffers.
What
are the most urgent needs?
The
average income of those who are involved in ministry is Rs.2500,
about $ 60, is not enough for a family with 4 members. So the
most basic need is financial support. But instead of giving
finance directly we have decided to help with some basic need,
for example, we have two projects.

To give table fan to 50 Christian workers family, (We want
to give to many more),

we want to give Rs. 1000 (around $30) per family for the education
of the Children.
The
second important need is ministerial resources: Like books
on mission, Christian doctrine, practical Christian life,
tracts, films projector, Christian films and other related
material. The other important need we see is spiritual encouragement
and guidance through camps, conference, retreats and other
means of bringing ministry and giving them spiritual food.
We also believe in the importance of a healthy family for
effective ministry, so we want to focus on family. The other
need we believe we have in Gujarat is the need of Theological
training persons. So to fulfill this goal we have plan to
support and educate 2 families and 3 individuals students.
The list of the needs can go on and on but the above needs
are urgent.
What
kind of support are you looking for?
We
love this question! We need: 1) Prayer Support. Pray for the
above needs. We want see that God's children around the world
pray for the work in Gujarat. 2) Resources Support: we need
ministry related tapes, video, books, and other materials.
3) Financial support: our total need till the end of 2004
is $ 50,000, which is half of one American Missionary family's
need of a month. 4) We want to know the Universal church is
with us, in this great venture, so you can visit us, write
us and give moral support to us.
